Leslie first approached me about designing her wedding invitations with already-purchased Martha Stewart invitation kits. The challenge was then to design a unique invitation while still incorporating the decorative elements that were already pre-printed on the cards, and also including additional cards according to their needs. I found a paper stock that was similar in color and texture and we were off to a great start on the invitations!
My favorite part about this design is the purple type set on a diagonal. It gives a sense of movement to the design and really calls attention to the important details (even in the programs!). Her chosen colors of purple, brown, and green accents are used carefully to give just the right amount of balance to the invitation. We had an invitation stuffing party one Sunday afternoon and it was great to see everyone pitch in to help.
