And we’re back! It was a short trip, but so good. I hadn’t been back in 5 years, and Steve in 12, so it was a wonderful vacation of seeing (& meeting) relatives, celebrating my grandma’s baptism, and lots of eating and shopping. The “real” pictures are still importing, but here are some that I snapped on my iphone as we were out and about.
date night: out to a DCI show!
Last week, I surprised Steve with some tickets to a DCI show that had some of his favorite corps. He was so giddy the few days before that he was listening to and watching his drum corps DVD’s over and over! So silly…
Here are some of my favorite moments:

…notice they all had flags in them (except for SCV). haha! The visuals really add so much to each corp’s show, and some corps were such good storytellers!
playing days
Gone are the days where we could just play all day…everyday…for most of us, at least. 
But my husband and I still get to enjoy some of that with our son!
